In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Experience vs. Truth", taught by Lisa Bowers. In this class, Lisa teaches about how we as humans tend to filter Christianity through our experiences. Even in the New Testament, people saw Jesus through the filter of what they thought He should be.Let's run after Him, letting Him speak for who He is, and letting Him clear our filter so that we can walk with Him in truth!

Refuse Ordinary S3E22: Intended Intimacy With God

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Intended Intimacy With God", taught by Stefanie Mumby. This class brings up the importance of intimacy and being vulnerable in order to grow and become closer to God. In order to have intimacy with God, we need to pursue healing for the hurts that we have experienced. God deeply wants to be with us, but the hurts we've experienced cause us to build self protection around ourselves, making it difficult to be known and to get close to others. Will you take a step in the direction of healing your hurts in order to grow closer to God?

Refuse Ordinary S3E23: Rejection & Insecurity

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Rejection and Insecurities", taught by Maria McWhorter. This class is about how rejection keeps us from being who God created us to be. We put up these safeguards to protect ourselves from more rejection, while being stuck in a cycle of believing lies about ourselves and what we deserve. If Jesus hasn't rejected you, will you take the chance at believing that you don't have to live in the rejection and insecurities you have experienced?

Refuse Ordinary S3E24: Competition & Jealousy

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Competition and Jealousy", taught by Nathan Taylor. This class discusses how jealousy can be a good thing when it relates to the way God feels for us or the way we must protect our relationship with God. But jealousy can also reveal where we don't trust God to provide for us. When we celebrate the giftings God has given to others, we are able to counteract jealousy in our lives. The goal is to trust that God will give us what we need!

This class brings well known Bible stories to life as it explains how Old Testament Jewish festivals were fulfilled so beautifully by Jesus in the New Testament. This class brings a fresh perspective to Jesus' incredible life and sacrifice for us.

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "God's Goals And Perspective For Me", taught by Nathan Taylor. This class focuses on how we deal with the "mundane" when we feel that there is a bigger calling or vision that God has placed in our lives. The circumstances we are in may exactly be what is creating the character that is necessary to carry the anointing from God. What is God wanting to do in your life in this moment?

Refuse Ordinary S3E27: Love Is Selflessness

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3!This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation.

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Love is Selflessness", taught by Lisa Bowers. This class is all about what it means to really give our lives over to Jesus and go against the natural selfishness that we are used to operating in. Though it is hard to do initially, choosing obedience and selflessness allows us to go into a deeper relationship with God than we could otherwise have.

Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. 

 

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "His Vision Endures", taught by Chloe Wellsand. This class discusses what God's vision for humanity is and what that means to us. Instead of making it about us, it's important to recognize what His overall vision is and how we can partner with Him. God is consistent and He is good, and 

we can find relief with Him being in control!
